We bought MS Benny as our first boat in Egypt and we have to admit it is our “secret darling” as we went through thick and thin with it. Every year MS Benny is for at least four weeks at the dockyard – and slowly we are running out of ideas what else could be improved on the boat.

Benny is powered by an 8-cylinder Caterpillar motor with 220 horsepower. At the rear end of the main deck there is a spacious divers’ platform and in the middle you can find the sitting area. We abstained from having a kitchen on board as we use Benny for half-day tours only and the travel time is always less than 40 minutes.

Although we use Benny for half-day tours only, there is no reason to hide it. It is 22 meters long and offers a great sun deck for pleasant sunbathing after a dive. Of course, a sunblind is also provided on the upper deck. Like our MS Esther, Benny has been outfitted with teakwood on the deck. It looks beautiful and is comfortable as well as safe for barefoot walking.

Our boat’s crew is a three-men-team including our senior captain who has the most experience in el Quseir. It is without saying that Benny like all our boats is provided with the full emergency equipment, i.e. fire-extinguisher, life jackets, radio and mobile phone.
